Recurring transport and handling tasks are seen by many companies as the entry point to automation. With the ReBeLMove Pro, Igus offers a modular AMR platform that can be flexibly adapted to different intralogistics applications.

With the ReBeLMove Pro, Igus is addressing the growing demand for automation in logistics, assembly and handling. The autonomous mobile robot platform is designed as a modular system and can be configured with different superstructures. Possible options include transport solutions for small load carriers, mobile shelving for order picking or use as a mobile base for assembly workstations with integrated cobots.

The platform is designed to be easily customisable and, according to the company, can be integrated into existing processes without in-depth automation experience.

Compact AMR with high payload

The system is based on a compact, rectangular AMR with four wheels and an electric drive. The robot can transport loads of up to 250 kilograms or pull trailers weighing up to 900 kilograms. The maximum speed is up to 2 m/s and the battery capacity is designed for a working day of around eight hours.

Display

Thanks to the standardised platform, various attachments can be integrated mechanically and in terms of software without changing the basic system.

Simple commissioning and open interfaces

According to Igus, commissioning is carried out without external system integrators. During an exploratory journey, the ReBeLMove Pro uses lidar and 3D sensor technology to create a digital map of the surroundings. No guidelines or markings on the ground are required for this. Driving and movement sequences are also created using graphical software without any programming knowledge.

Open interfaces are available for integration into existing systems, including ERP and SAP connections as well as common standards for fleet management. This allows the AMR to be integrated into heterogeneous IT landscapes.

Focus on economic efficiency

The aim of the concept is to automate recurring intralogistics activities economically and to lower the entry barriers for mobile robotics. The ReBeLMove Pro is designed to offer a pragmatic approach to automation, particularly for companies with limited resources.
