As individual and versatile as necessary with Yaskawa

Yaskawa is focussing on a newly developed i³ Control automation platform including a coordinated generation of controllers.

At this year's trade fair, Yaskawa will be focussing on the concept presentation of a completely newly developed automation platform i³ Control, including a specially adapted controller generation.

For example, the first controller of this new platform and the newly developed i³ Engineer software environment. This new system is characterised by Open source operating system, openness, flexibility and scalability.

Also Technically integrated complete solutions from a single source are once again a topic at the trade fair stand: a 'Singular Control' demo cell with handling robot and delta kinematics shows how machine builders and users can implement robots in existing architectures without the need for a programming device (teach box) or a proprietary robot programming language. The motion sequence of the individual axes is calculated in the controller's firmware. The programmer can therefore concentrate entirely on the application without having to worry about the underlying complex technology.

With a wide range from Drives (frequency inverters), Motion Control (servo drives and servo motors), Robotics (robot systems), Control Technology, Visualisation Systems and Chip Solutions (profichip) is Yaskawa is one of the few companies in the world that can offer components and solutions for almost all industries from a single source. Representative of this portfolio depth, the current versions of the GA500 and GA700 frequency invertersnew modules for the tried-and-tested I/O and control system Slio, high-performance Motoman robot models and the profichip Triton industrial processor as a centrepiece of i³ Control.
