Mondi's new FlexStudios in Germany offers 2,300 square metres of space for the joint development of sustainable flexible packaging. The centre is designed to support customers in optimising packaging and shorten the time to market for innovative solutions.

Mondi has opened a new innovation centre, FlexStudios, in Steinfeld, Germany. The aim is to develop sustainable packaging solutions that optimise the entire product life cycle. The centre brings together various Areas for research, testing and collaboration. On the top floor is the „FlexStudios Inspire“, an area that combines research and creativity. Customers can work here in an interactive environment with Mondi's expert teams and familiarise themselves with the product portfolio.

The ground floor houses two further core areas: „FlexStudios Innovate“, a pilot plant for the development and demonstration of new products, and „FlexStudios Advance“, a state-of-the-art laboratory with extensive testing facilities. According to Mondi, this combination should help to Reduce time to market for new packaging and paper solutions.

The FlexStudios were opened on 12 November 2024 and are an important part of Mondi's MAP2030 strategy, which drives innovative and circular solutions.
