System provider in action
As a system provider, BEUMER Group also supplies and installs Complete packaging lines and customises them to the user's products. The programme includes, for example, the innovative BEUMER fillpac FFS form-fill-seal system, which is primarily used in the chemical industry for filling plastic bags. The BEUMER fillpac R provides users with a machine that can be used to fill various materials - particularly from the building materials industry - from very fine to very coarse structures into paper sacks. The high-performance BEUMER paletpac layer palletiser efficiently stacks the filled bags on pallets. Depending on the product requirements, these machines are equipped with a clamping or double-belt turning device.
With the proven high-performance packaging systems from the BEUMER stretch hood palletised goods can be securely fixed to the pallet with a stretch film during transport and protected from dust, rain or other weather influences during outdoor storage. The system provider will be presenting this system in action to visitors at the trade fair stand in Stuttgart.
Once the stacked goods have been enclosed in the stretch bonnet, the process continues: BEUMER Group's Palletising and Packaging Systems business unit implements industry-specific applications with which the supplier can turn packaging lines into complete intralogistics solutions expanded. To this end, it equips the lines with standardised components such as conveyor technology or vehicle-based systems, various handling solutions and manipulators such as robots, buffer and storage modules. In addition, there are corresponding control and automation systems, including integration into the customer's ERP landscape. The customer receives the complete intralogistics solution from a single source and has just one point of contact.
