Syntegon Technology is presenting the BDS weighing, dosing and mixing system for the production of candy masses for the first time, which works in sets and saves 50 per cent energy.

The portfolio now offers two systems with low energy consumption: the batch-wise BDS system and the continuously operating BDK system. The BMV mixing system with hygienic magnetic agitator will also be on show at the trade fair.

For the production of rubber and jelly articles, Syntegon Technology is presenting the Makat Mogul system with new components, including inline weight detection, the newly developed, chain-free destacker and innovative rotary nozzles for more effective cleaning processes.

„Cleanability, ease of use and resource conservation play a key role for confectionery manufacturers. We realise these values in our process solutions,“ explains Frank Jansen, Product Manager at Syntegon Technology.

Saving energy in the production of sweets

Syntegon Technology focuses on intelligent and sustainable solutions, also in terms of resource efficiency. With the innovative BDS weighing, dosing and mixing system, confectionery manufacturers can produce sugar masses in an energy-efficient way: Traditionally, water has to be added to the mass during mixing and boiled out again later. This work step is now largely unnecessary, resulting in energy savings of around 50 per cent. As an alternative to the continuously producing BDK system, the new BDS system produces the sugar and binder masses in batches. This process enables more customised admixtures and offers manufacturers a higher degree of flexibility.

Syntegon Technology will also be showcasing the new BMV mixing system, which features a magnetically coupled mixing element. This increases hygiene, cleanability and accessibility compared to attached mixing elements. The new hygienic design rounds off both the BMV and BDS systems and ensures an even higher standard of hygiene in candy production.

Makat mogul system with new destacker and Quality Control Concept

Syntegon Technology will also be exhibiting the Makat Mogul system in a stainless steel design with new components. These include the completely newly developed destacker with which the crates are fed into the mogul.

„With this new development, we are offering manufacturers of rubber and jelly products an attractive system that scores points for its particularly simple operation, minimised troubleshooting times and significantly reduced maintenance requirements. We have also focussed more on accessibility and ergonomics,“ explains Dr Sandra Link, Product Manager at Syntegon Technology.

Another highlight of the Makat mogul system is the new inline weight recording system. The system enables continuous monitoring of the product weight during the production process and thus contributes to integrated quality control.

New rotary nozzles simplify cleaning processes

The new Makat-specific rotating nozzles are used at several points in the mogul plant. The RNC 6000 crate edge cleaning system is used for brushless and precise cleaning of the powder crates and not only significantly reduces starch loss, but also production waste, cleaning effort and therefore costs. The RNC 3000 product cleaning system, also based on this technology, removes starch from the products to prepare them for post-treatment. The RNC systems are characterised by significantly reduced maintenance requirements and a long service life. Both systems are also available as retrofit kits and are therefore suitable for retrofitting existing systems.

System provider with consulting expertise
