Every year, young companies enrich the world of the processing and packaging industry. 22 of them will be presenting themselves at interpack 2026 in the Start-up Zone. Compared to the previous event, the area has more than doubled.
From sustainability and digitalisation to new business models: 22 start-ups from eight countries are presenting their solutions for the processing and packaging industry at interpack in Hall 7a, covering key areas of transformation in the sector.
Diversity of innovations
Start-ups from Germany, Sweden, India, Portugal, South Korea, Austria, Estonia, and Great Britain are represented. Their offerings range from bio-based and recyclable materials, reusable systems, and healthcare shipping packaging to software platforms for ESG reporting, PPWR compliance, serialisation, and AI-assisted operations management.
Furthermore, new approaches in process engineering will be presented, which are used, for example, in mixing technology or in intelligent platform solutions for packaging processes. This diversity of innovations shows that the start-ups are not only focusing on sustainability but also on increasing efficiency and integrating new technologies into existing processes.
Growth of the start-up zone
Compared to the previous event, the floor space of the start-up zone has more than doubled. This highlights the increasing interest and importance given to young companies in the packaging industry. interpack offers these start-ups a unique opportunity to present their products and services to an international audience and to make valuable contacts in the industry.

The following start-ups have confirmed their participation: Alphacath, Cell2Green, Easy2cool, Evopack, HS-Tumbler, Innoscentia, Jooyeong P&S, Kiud Technologies, Konnect Packaging International, Licopharm, Meadow, Nanox NNX-Tech, OMMM Operations Management Solutions, Packaging Cockpit, PackIntelX, PAL Plastik Ambalajsan. Vetic. A.Ş, Peerox, R-Cycle, Recyda, Reused Remade, SeriSoft and Sykell. They are sending a clear signal with regard to the drive for innovation within the packaging industry. In particular, the trend towards more sustainable and efficient packaging solutions is to be further driven forward by the innovations presented.
The Messe Düsseldorf, with its Start-up Zone, specifically supports young companies that want to shape the future of the packaging industry with their innovative approaches.
