Intech Worldwide has been producing reusable packaging and pallets in Hanover-Marienwerder since 2008. However, the old plant has now become too small. The Hanover-based company is therefore now investing in a new plant in Hanover-Stöcken with an area of 30,500 square metres.
The new site is now scheduled to be occupied in 2023. The now 21 injection moulding systems of Intech Worldwide GmbH will move with it. A feat of strength when you consider that the largest systems weigh over 180 tonnes.

„Reusable instead of disposable“ is the company's motto. The reusable packaging produced can be reused for many years and is fully recyclable at the end of its service life. Disposable packaging, such as cardboard or film, can thus be replaced and CO2-balance can be sustainably improved.
In the new factory, the Waste heat from injection moulding systems used to heat the building and produce hot water. A new Photovoltaic system with an output of 1,500 kWp (kilowatt peak) electricity is produced. In this way, solar energy is used to produce reusable packaging.
With the „Intech Green“ sustainability programme“ the company relies on the use of high-quality recycled materials made from 100 % PCR plastics. According to Intech, it processes more than 11,000 tonnes of this annually.
