The internal material flow must also run smoothly under the corona-related hygiene requirements. With its lift2move industrial truck series and the BalanceLift free-swivelling positioning solution, intralogistics specialist Expresso can offer solutions that can be implemented quickly.
With the correct use of mobile and highly flexible handling systems, employees can - for example via infrared remote control - and interact without getting too close to each other. The company also has a low-cost entry-level solution for anyone who needs to act quickly.

The Kassel-based manufacturer's product and sales managers have already been working flat out for several weeks to equip their customers in industry and trade with the most suitable conveyors and handling systems.

The focus is primarily on the mobile transport and lifting device lift2move and the BalanceLift free-swivelling positioning system. They enable the „contactless“ handling of workpieces, components, semi-finished products and containers. With both solutions, many lifting, lowering and conveying tasks in assembly, feeding, removal and transfer processes can be carried out without contact and while maintaining the necessary safety distances.
Lean entry-level system in demand
The lift2move is a Manual feed industrial truck with electrically height-adjustable lift mast that can accommodate numerous specific attachments. The BASIC entry-level version and the recently launched SELECTIVE series are currently in particularly high demand due to their low cost and rapid availability.
A lift2move can also be configured as a workpiece carrier or mobile workstation without much effort. „In addition, we are currently offering a Transparent separating disc for infection control, and our service teams offer excellent support in the practical implementation of the corona-specific non-contact rules. For example, with intensive on-site advice or the provision of test devices,“ adds Managing Director Alexander Bünz.

Contactless relocation
The company offers the BalanceLift for removal and transfer processes where shorter distances need to be covered. This Ergonomic free-swivelling positioning system is available as a pneumatic or electric version. Containers or components can be picked up and moved with minimal effort and without direct contact with other employees. Each BalanceLift can be customised to its task and environment using various carrier systems and the range of grippers.
There are currently no corona-related supply bottlenecks or spare parts problems at Expresso. This is because all the central components of the company's transport and handling systems are Made in Germany, come from our own production or from selected suppliers.
