From autumn 2024, two new bag machines and a header bag line will further increase the production cycle rate here.
The new bagging lines are technologically comparable with the existing systems at the site, which means that a Fast and seamless integration into the machine park is ensured. At the same time, a new cast film extrusion line will be installed at the Halle site. All three new production lines in Rohrdorf will go into operation by 1 October 2024, while the first commercial production on the new extrusion line in Halle is planned for early 2025.
„We are investing in modernising our sites to meet the growing demand from our customers for high-performance medical packaging. A clean and safe environment is extremely important for this sector, but sustainability is also an issue. For example, the new cast film extrusion line in Halle is designed for the production of innovative and recyclable packaging made from mono-materials for medical products. In addition, both sites produce exclusively with renewable energy in line with our no-waste strategy.“
