IPACK-IMA 2022 focuses on chemicals and pharmaceuticals

The next edition of IPACK-IMA will take place in Milan from 3 to 6 May 2022 and will focus on non-food, end-of-line and transversal technologies.

The next edition of IPACK-IMA will take place in Milan from 3 to 6 May 2022. The international trade fair for processing and packaging will then focus on non-food, end-of-line and transversal technologies.

The focus in 2022 will be on the Chemicals & Pharma segment. According to forecasts, after times of health emergencies, this segment will then for new development opportunities keep an eye out. According to the organiser, this includes protective equipment, medicines and vaccines, medical devices, products for environmental hygiene, but also solutions for beauty and personal care.

Separate hall at IPACK-IMA 2022 for the chemical-pharmaceutical sector

More efficient and advanced packaging systems, research into innovative and sustainable materials, technologies for production, encapsulation, packaging, serialisation and quality control are just some of the areas that will be the focus of IPACK-IMA in the future. The trade fair plans to organise a Entire hall for the Chemicals & Pharma sector to consolidate.

The IPACK-IMA also offers the possibility of Technology transfers in the context of a special „cross-contamination“-logic that applies to the entire FMCG and consumer goods industry with strong synergies between the various production sectors.

To reinforce the approach of connecting different sectors, cross-sector solutions will be presented in two halls for all areas such as End-of-line systems, palletising, coding, marking, labelling and intralogistics presented.
