For the first time in its 94-year history, Acqua S. Bernardo (also known as San Bernardo) is now bottling its still and sparkling mineral waters in metal packaging.

In the past, San Bernado was marketed as „the lightest water in the world“, exclusively in glass bottles offered.

The Italian mineral water bottler, together with the Packaging experts from Crown developed the design. The graphics allude to La Giocca, the San Bernardo brand bottle with 105 drops of water, which was designed in 1994 by the legendary automotive designer Giorgetto Giugiaro.

The in printed cans at the Crown plant in Parma (Italy) will be equipped with a special tactile surface which is intended to achieve a special multi-sensory effect. The 33cl cans with the special finish cans are just as easy to print on the existing machines as conventional cans, offer a Excellent barrier against light, oxygen and bacteria and guarantee the freshness of the contents desired by the company.
