On 1 May 2020, Jan Glass succeeded Dr Jürgen Kuske as Chief Financial Officer of the Optima Group. Together with Hans Bühler, the Managing Partner, he will take over the management of the central departments.
Already since 2016 the industrial engineer has held various management positions at Optima. Since starting at Optima, he has gained a deep insight into the entire group of companies.

Jan Glass was most recently responsible for OPTIMA life science GmbH. After training as a telecommunications technician, the 58-year-old father of two studied mechanical engineering as well as production technology and industrial engineering at Heilbronn University. He then quickly took over Management responsibility, among other things as a project engineer in the optimisation of production and company processes. He also served as Chief Financial Officer for over 15 years.
