Jodl Verpackungen is investing in new machines from Flexiprime to increase the production of flexible packaging. The expansion is aimed at shorter delivery times and a broader product range.
Increasing demands on packaging solutions in the food, pet food and food supplement industries are putting pressure on manufacturers to expand their production capacities. Jodl Verpackungen from Lenzing, Austria, has responded to this challenge and increased its capacity for flexible packaging by purchasing new machines from Flexiprime in Rinteln, Germany.
Investment in new machines
Jodl Verpackungen has expanded its production line with slitter rewinders and bag making machines for paper block bottom bags. These machines will be integrated into the existing production processes at the Lenzing site. According to Jürgen Jodl, Managing Director of the company, this investment represents a significant step in the company's growth strategy.
Advantages of the capacity expansion
With the integration of the new machines, Jodl Verpackungen expects shorter throughput times and an expanded product range. This will enable the company to offer customised solutions in flexo or gravure printing quality more efficiently. The investment is aimed at strengthening Jodl Verpackungen's position in a dynamic market environment and better meeting customer needs.
Jodl Verpackungen, a family-run company with around 200 employees, produces a wide range of packaging solutions, including stand-up pouches, flat-bottom bags, block-bottom bags, cross-bottom bags and gusseted bags.
