The Jokey Group has appointed Thorsten Lückmann as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from 17 May 2025. Lückmann succeeds Peter Dörmbach, who is retiring after 15 years as CFO and more than 40 years with the company.
After more than four decades with the company, Peter Dörmbach, longstanding Chief Financial Officer of the Jokey Group, is retiring. On 17 May 2025, Thorsten Lückmann took over as Chief Financial Officer at one of the world's leading manufacturers of plastic packaging.
„We are delighted to have found a great successor to Peter Dörmbach as CFO in Thorsten Lückmann. We would like to thank Peter Dörmbach for over 40 years of outstanding work. We wish them both all the best for the future.“
Jens Stadter, CEO of the Jokey Group
Peter Dörmbach's term of office saw key developments in the company's history: he oversaw the change of name of the parent plants in Wipperfürth and Gummersbach from a GmbH (limited liability company) to a Societas Europaea (SE), as well as Jokey's national and international expansion.
He will be succeeded by Thorsten Lückmann, a „home-grown talent“ who has known Jokey for a long time, most recently as Head of Controlling. He was already appointed Managing Director of the Gummersbach and Wipperfürth sites in January 2025.
