The Jokey Group produces a recyclate container for the B2B brand of Meffert Farbwerke. The 12.5-litre bucket made from PCR conserves resources, is user-friendly and up to 97% recyclable.

The centrepiece of the new bucket is the Use of post-consumer recyclate (PCR) from dual systems such as the Yellow Bag or Yellow Bin. This saves 13 percent CO₂ per container compared to a bucket made of virgin material - and reduces the consumption of fossil raw materials by 0.4 litres per unit.

The design has also been optimised. The oval shape makes emptying easier. A plastic handle is now used instead of a metal one. This makes the bin more comfortable to carry and almost completely recyclable. The cyclos-HTP institute confirms a recyclability of 97 per cent. By comparison, buckets with metal handles only achieve between nine and 87 per cent, depending on the disposal company.

Jokey supplies the Container with sealing lid and special safety film, which reduces colour adhesion and additionally protects the filling material. The container is lightweight, highly resilient and suitable for use with vibrators. Material tests by external institutes also ensure the Consistently high quality of the recyclates used.

To close the loop for plastic packaging, Meffert AG has joined the nationwide closed-loop system from Jokey and the Zentek Group connected. Empty or clean containers are collected free of charge and sent for proper recycling.
