With its „Jowat Green Adhesives“ product line, Jowat SE is positioning itself as a driver of sustainable adhesive solutions for the packaging industry. In its latest sustainability report, the company emphasises that environmentally friendly adhesives play a key role in the transformation towards recyclable packaging.
The „Green Adhesives“ combine high performance with a reduced ecological footprint, according to Detmold. They contain bio-based or recycled raw materials, minimise emissions during processing and also meet high food safety and process stability requirements. This enables the increasing substitution of fossil-based materials with paper and cellulose-based packaging solutions.
According to Jowat, the targeted use of these adhesives helps customers in the food, consumer goods and logistics industries to establish sustainable value chains. The programme covers all aspects of the bonding process - from raw material selection and energy efficiency to health protection and occupational safety.
