Packaging specialist Karl Knauer from Biberach/Baden wins the International Creative Media Award for a magazine title that seems very minimalist at first glance.

Only a large white „918“ on a silver surface is emblazoned in the centre of the deep black cover of the exclusive Porsche 918 Spyder Circle Periodical. However, if you press the „Activate“ button, which is also printed on the device, a „918“ begins behind the "918". Magical light show with impressive depth effect in acid green.

This spectacular light show with infinity effect also delighted the International expert jury of the ICMA Award. She honoured the innovation drivers from the Black Forest for their in the „Print Finishing“ category with the „Award of Excellence“ from.

The special feature of the project is the extraordinary depth of the infinity effect, which is integrated into the only six millimetres thick magazine cover integrated was created: It appears as a quasi-infinite reflection and resembles a hall of mirrors.
