Thomas Hartkämper has taken over responsibility for Operations at Kautex Maschinenbau this month. The experienced expert in change management and organisational development will play a key role in shaping the company's change process. Kautex is one of the world's leading manufacturers of extrusion blow moulding machines for plastics processing.

Hartkämper has worked for many years in leading positions for internationally operating companies in mechanical engineering and plant technology. The 50-year-old stands for sustainable entrepreneurial action and its consistent focus on customer requirements. He knows the plastics industry from many years of experience, particularly in machine and mould construction for plastic packaging.

„We are undergoing fundamental change at Kautex Maschinenbau. The changes affect all areas of our company. Packaging focus, circular economy and digitalisation are the key words. Thomas Hartkämper is a very good team player. He has the necessary expertise and many years of experience to successfully manage and shape our change process - particularly in the area of operations. The fact that we were able to win him over is very good for Kautex Maschinenbau and a great pleasure for myself.“

Hartkämper himself believes the company is on the right track: „With the motto for this year's plastics trade fair CREATING CHANGE TOGETHER Kautex is already pointing out upcoming challenges. I am looking forward to the task of helping this great company to become a self-learning organisation that generates sustainable added value for its customers.“
