Koch Pac-Systeme was honoured with the prestigious German Brand Award 2025 in Berlin. The „PPWR Performance Campaign“ impressed the jury with its holistic approach to helping companies switch to recyclable and EU-compliant packaging.
Since the EU packaging regulation (PPWR) came into force in February 2025, many companies in the consumer and healthcare sector have been faced with the challenge of making their packaging fully recyclable and legally compliant by 2030. At the centre of Koch Pac-Systeme's „PPWR Performance Campaign“ is the Free „PPWR Starter Package“, which offers companies practical initial advice and customised support. In this way, Koch facilitates the transition to environmentally friendly packaging and strengthens companies in their economic packaging changeover.
Contribution to environmental protection
The campaign aims to help make packaging more sustainable and thus noticeably reduce the burden on the environment. The jury of the German Brand Award particularly honoured the Combination of brand communication, innovative service offerings and clear social benefits.
Strategic partnership with values
Overall responsibility for the campaign lay with Jörg Schebetka (Head of Marketing Communication) and Sarah Müller (Marketing Specialist) at Koch Pac-Systeme. The Ludwigsburg agency Gedankenfolger was responsible for the creative realisation.
The German Brand Award is one of the most important awards for successful brand management in Germany. It is awarded by the German Brand Institute - with the aim of making brands visible as a success factor. The award recognises companies that impress with a clear strategy, innovative communication and strong brand management.
