With the »Koehler NexPlus Seal Pure« packaging solution, pasta is being offered in fully recyclable paper packaging for the first time, according to Oberkirch.
Together with the Italian pasta manufacturer Astrabio, Koehler Paper has developed an environmentally friendly packaging solution. The heat-sealable paper »Koehler NexPlus Seal Pure« reliably protects the product, guarantees optimum shelf life and is suitable for standard packaging systems.
„With »Koehler NexPlus Seal Pure«, we offer a packaging paper that significantly reduces the carbon footprint and is fully recyclable,“ explains Mauro Moretti, Sales Manager Flexible Packaging Papers at Koehler Italia.
With the NexFlex product range, Koehler Paper is developing flexible packaging papers which, according to the manufacturer, are intended to replace plastic in packaging.
Several of Koehler's packaging papers have been awarded the „Made for Recycling“ seal by Interzero.
