From 16 to 19 September 2025, Labelexpo Europe will open its doors for the first time at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona - and is also announcing itself as the largest event in its history. The trade fair for label and packaging printing will be expanded to include new topics and will cover the entire value chain for labels, flexible packaging and, for the first time, folding cartons.

With the new venue in Barcelona, Labelexpo aims to specifically address the increasing convergence of inline and digital technologies. The integration of folding cartons is a strategic step towards better reflecting technological change and market requirements.

„More than 600 exhibitors have already booked, 15 of them % for the first time,“ says Andrew Galloway, Group Director EMEA of the Labelexpo Global Series. The upcoming edition is already 12 % larger than that of 2023 - a clear signal for the growth of the industry.

Barcelona as the new hotspot for packaging printing

The move to the Spanish metropolis has been well received by the industry, according to reports. Good transport connections, attractive hotel contingents and special rates for international travellers make Barcelona an attractive location for logistics and tourism.
