Laetus and Kezzler have decided on a strategic partnership: in future, customers will benefit from seamless connectivity between the companies' platforms. The aim is to offer an end-to-end solution for the serialisation and traceability of products along the entire supply chain.
Laetus, a provider of in-line quality control and supply chain traceability solutions, is teaming up with Kezzler, which claims to be one of the world's leading cloud-based traceability platforms, to create an industry solution that enables companies to secure end-to-end transparency of their global supply chains offers.
The seamless solution will have a cross-company service level agreement and a global support organisation. The improved traceability of products allows for increased brand protection against threats such as counterfeit goods. Positive experiences at the point of sale should also strengthen customer loyalty.
Laetus and Kezzler seal partnership
Both companies have already developed an interface between the Unified Platform (UP) for Track & Trace applications from Laetus and the cloud-based enterprise platform developed, tested and implemented by Kezzler for product digitisation and traceability. The integration, which is based on the GS1 EPCIS standard, enables a holistic solution for manufacturers in non-pharmaceutical industries.
Under the agreement, the Kezzler platform will provide technologies for L4 and L5 track & trace requirements. Laetus will provide hardware and software for inline quality control and L1-L3 track & trace systems.

„We at Laetus are delighted to be partnering with an innovation leader in the field of cloud-based traceability solutions. The collaboration enables us to offer users comprehensive end-to-end packages. Together, we can now offer brand owners a unique approach to support their customer engagement strategies and protect their brand.“ Dr Sebastian Krämer, Managing Director of Laetus
Christine C. Akselsen, CEO of Kezzler emphasises that they have already worked together on projects in the past. It was therefore a natural step for both sides to formalise the cooperation with a partnership agreement.
Laetus operates a test track in Germany for data exchange between the two systems to ensure secure and reliable integration between production and the cloud environment.
