Laetus presents new last-minute serialisation solutions for the pharmaceutical industry at ACHEMA 2018. The EU FMD deadline is approaching inexorably and the time left to integrate customised systems into packaging lines and processes is running out. The Alsbach-based provider of solutions for inline quality control and supply chain traceability will be demonstrating how the requirements can still be implemented on time.
One way of creating the necessary clear labelling without significantly interfering with existing packaging processes is to use machines for Pre-serialisation of packaging. These apply the necessary serialisation data and, if required, additional information to either label roll material or folding cartons and then verify them. The integrated labelling software ensures secure data exchange with the higher-level IT system.
Integration into the packaging line
However, there are reasons that make it necessary to integrate the serialisation process into the packaging line. Standardised solutions such as the smart MV-50 and MV-70 pack handling systems are suitable for this purpose. Pre-configured and available at short notice, they can be implemented into existing processes at comparatively low cost and with little effort. Equipped with high-quality components - including an INSPECT camera system and a Wolke m600 oem printer - both systems cover a wide range of applications. Labelling requirements reliably. The MV-70 also applies anti-opening labels.
