Lantech is presenting the fully automatic RL Automatic ring stretch wrapper as a highlight at drinktec in Munich. The new machine wraps up to 180 loads per hour without compromising on packaging quality and safety.
The new RL Automatic ring stretch wrapper combines various features for high speed and good packaging quality with features that eliminate the need for operator intervention and minimise downtime and safety risks. The Metered Film Delivery function, for example, offers twice the winding force and thus high stability, without the load being crushed and twisted or the film being torn.
The Load Seeking Clamp feature offers protection against film tearsby welding the end of the film to the load. With Wrap Cycle Control, the film tension can be adjusted during operation via the control unit. The optional Automatic Roll Change accessory enables the film rolls to be changed automatically. The RL Automatic stretch wrapper is suitable for load dimensions of up to 1200 mm x 1200 mm x 2700 mm.
No manual cutting of the film
The semi-automatic Lantech The QL-400XT stretch wrapper features the patented XT Cut & Clamp function. At the end of the wrapping cycle, the film is gripped and cut, which saves two minutes of time and therefore labour costs for each load. The process is completely mechanical and does not require its own compressed air supply or power supply.
Another feature of the QL-400XT stretch wrapper is the Load Guardian control. The intelligent system creates suitable load profiles with the right retention force for frequently occurring loading applications. The semi-automatic machine processes up to 35 loads per hour, whereby the film can have a maximum pre-stretch of 300 per cent. The diagonal load size can be up to 1829 mm and the wrapping height up to 2032 mm.

Erect right-angled boxes
The CI-1000 automatic inline carton erector achieves an output of up to 25 cartons per minute. At the same time, the machine impresses with its flexibility, because It processes many types of cardboard and closures. The dimensions of the boxes can be between 200 x 150 x 150 mm and 500 x 325 x 520 mm.
A major advantage of the CI-1000 is, according to Lantechthat it always produces right-angled cartons. The 90-degree angles on all sides are the prerequisite for this, that the cartons are ideal for the logistics chain and have maximum stability. The cutting process is fully controlled from the moment the product is inserted into the magazine until it is issued as a fully formed carton with a sealed base.
