One of the highlights in Nuremberg will be the Stretch-hood-A packaging machine, which supports customers in fulfilling legal requirements and implementing sustainable packaging processes. It is designed to safely and reliably process films with a high recycled content of 30 per cent and more (Fig.). The use of thinner but more efficient films further reduces film consumption and therefore also lowers packaging costs. Thanks to the option of designing the machine as a dual film format machine, a wide range of pallet formats can be processed without changing film reels. The Stretch-hood-A calculates the optimum film requirement for each pallet and thus ensures optimum material utilisation. In addition, comprehensive data analysis services from the Beumer Group's Customer Diagnostic Center allow users to precisely monitor and optimise their packaging processes.
