Lightweight promotional packaging made from microwave

Metsä Board has developed a space-saving promotional packaging made of micro-fluted corrugated board for the Finnish cosmetics brand HejBuddy, which is 50 per cent lighter than a conventional rigid box made of recycled fibres.

Metsä Board has developed versatile, space-saving promotional packaging for Finnish cosmetics brand HejBuddy. The lightweight packaging is made from micro-fluted corrugated board using Metsä Board's white kraftliner and is 50 percent lighter than conventional rigid packaging made from recycled fibres.

Traditionally, already assembled boxes are imported from Asia, which requires a lot of space in containers. The new packaging developed by Metsä Board requires only minimal storage capacity as it is simply folded into a box when required can be used. After use, the packaging can then be pressed flat and easily recycled.
