The Linhardt Group, Viechtach, is divesting its Hambrücken site and will in future concentrate on the international expansion of its aluminium packaging business - particularly for the pharmaceutical sector.
The Linhardt Group has announced that it is initiating the sale of its Hambrücken site. The decision is part of a comprehensive strategic realignment with which the company intends to further expand its market leadership in the field of aluminium tubes and cans, particularly for the pharmaceutical industry.
Linhardt had already taken over four production facilities in India in 2024 in order to strengthen the aluminium business in a targeted manner. The next logical step was to divest the plastics division, which is based exclusively in Hambrücken, 10 kilometres north-northwest of Bruchsal, within the Group.
Search for suitable buyer underway
The Linhardt Group is aiming to sell the company by autumn 2025. The aim is to find a strategic investor or industry specialist in the plastics sector to secure the further development of the site. The business is to be fully retained, as are the employees, according to the statement.
