The Upper Franconian packaging machine manufacturer LoeschPack is demonstrating its expertise as an integrative system provider for chocolate, chewing gum and confectionery at this year's ProSweets. With the RCB-HS pack head machine, the latest development in the field of tightly sealed fold wrap packaging will be presented in Cologne.
The machine is designed for small chocolate items and combines a hermetically sealed pack style with a classic fold wrap look. The consumer receives products with an extended shelf life and an improved flavour and texture experience.

The RCB-HS produces the fold wrap with an output of up to 600 products per minute in one packaging head and seals the packaging material hot all the way round. The heating jaws always seal film against film, which minimises the High tightness of the packaging and prevents damage to the products.
„The RCB-HS packs chocolate bars, tablets and napolitains in a new and innovative way with a premium look and at the same time guarantees a high level of product protection against environmental influences,“ says Managing Director Dr Thomas Cord, explaining the latest development.
Folding elements then create the classic pleat wrap. The deliberate omission of any glue application to seal the pack reduces soiling of the machine, minimises running costs and simplifies machine operation.

Synonymous with maximum tubular bag performance
The high-performance F-Series platform for packaging chocolate, biscuits and chewing gum in tubular bags stands for high performance, Best overall system efficiency and great format flexibility with low packaging costs. Short format changeover times make the F-Series so attractive for customers. All settings can be reproduced exactly and guarantee stable machine operation and optimum performance after a very short time.
The use of intelligent process technology in the sealing modules means less waste when stopping and starting the packaging machine. In addition to classic fold wrapping, the F-Series can be optimally integrated into a system with a storage system, infeed, secondary packaging and end-of-line packaging from LoeschPack.
Gum Information Centre (GIC)
On the topic Chewing gum technical animations, videos and a variety of interesting product samples of the most diverse packaging solutions will be shown. Information will be provided on automation options for feeding high-performance packaging systems with Chewing gum slabs. Thanks to its high modularity and the large number of available variants, the machine platform can be used for a wide variety of packaging tasks. The company will also be providing information about its chewing gum packaging and system solutions with components for wrapping, cartoning and cellophane wrapping of multipacks.
