With a significant increase in visitors compared to the previous year LogiMAT 2023 has closed its doors. A total of 62,343 trade visitors (+25 %) came to the Stuttgart exhibition centre over the three days of the trade fair. This means that the current event even exceeded the pre-pandemic result from 2019.

Together with the increase in international exhibitors, this proves that the LogiMAT brand is firmly established as the world's leading trade fair and a permanent fixture for the future-proof design of efficient intralogistics processes.“

In the fully booked ten exhibition halls at the Stuttgart exhibition centre, 1,563 exhibitors from 39 nations presented their latest developments and innovations for optimal material flows and efficient process management. The exhibitors at LogiMAT 2023 already reported in advance More than 100 exclusive product premieres. These included world firsts and globally unique innovations such as the 3D ultrasonic sensor „Toposens Echo One“, developed by Meysens GmbH for acoustic detection, which won the „Best Product“ award in the “Picking, Conveying, Lifting and Storage Technology" category.

With the exhibitors' exhibits and the proven supporting programme, LogiMAT 2023 covered the transfer of information and knowledge for future-proof investments. These are aimed at on automation, digital transformation and the integration of modern technologies such as robotics, sensor technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimise internal processes. In addition, solutions on the topics of sustainability and energy efficiency the focus of exhibitors and trade visitors. Visitors stated that they were specifically looking for automation solutions at LogiMAT, were inspired by new technologies and were evaluating potential cooperation partners. According to the visitor analysis by the independent Basel-based market research institute Wissler & Partner, a high percentage of trade visitors came to LogiMAT with specific investment intentions.

LogiMAT has once again increased its level of internationalisation this year. Almost every second trade visitor travelled more than 300 kilometres. One in four travelled from abroad. A good ten per cent of trade fair visitors came from overseas. Among the exhibitors at LogiMAT 2023 is the share of international companies has grown to more than a third this year. Another indication of the international character of the event: among the 200 or so new exhibitors who came to Stuttgart for the first time this year, the proportion of international companies was almost 70 per cent.

The next LogiMAT in Stuttgart takes place from 19 to 21 March 2024 instead.
