LogiMAT 2026 has ended with record numbers of exhibitors, exhibition space, internationality and visitor numbers. According to the organiser Euroexpo Messe- und Kongress-GmbH, the trade fair in Stuttgart underlined its importance as the most important industry event of the year for intralogistics solutions and process management.
With 1,671 exhibitors from 46 countries and 69,856 trade visitors, LogiMAT 2026 achieved new highs in several key figures, according to the organisers. The net exhibition space was 68,969 square metres and the ten exhibition halls in Stuttgart were fully booked. The exhibitors had announced more than 120 world and European premieres in advance.
High willingness to invest and concrete deals
According to the independent market research institute Wissler & Partner, 56 per cent of trade visitors were there as decision-makers. Accordingly, 35.9 per cent came to Stuttgart with concrete investment plans. In addition, 25.3 per cent of visitors stated that they had already awarded a contract at the trade fair or had placed orders immediately afterwards. Several companies reported concrete contracts and partnerships.
International reach continues to grow
The degree of internationalisation of the trade fair increased again in 2026. The proportion of exhibiting companies from abroad reached 37 per cent, compared to 35.9 per cent in the previous year. Around 26.7 per cent of visitors travelled from abroad. In addition, a large proportion of the public took longer journeys: 42% of trade visitors came from more than 300 kilometres away.
The largest product groups represented came from the areas of conveyor and storage technology, software for simulation, warehouse systems and inventory management as well as industrial trucks and accessories. Information and communication technology, driverless transport vehicles and autonomous mobile robots were also well represented.
Focus shifts to humanoid robotics
Humanoid robotics proved to be a key trend topic at this year's event. Several exhibitors presented initial applications in the intralogistics environment. The topic was complemented by a current study by the Fraunhofer IML and contributions in the trade fair's supporting programme.
LogiMAT also emphasised innovation and securing skilled workers with formats such as Young Innovators, a start-up competition and the LogiMAT CareerDay. This was accompanied by the publication of the study „Working World (Intra)Logistics“, which highlights prospects for the further development of the industry.
LogiMAT strengthens its role as a labour fair
For the organiser, the result confirms LogiMAT's function as a platform for market overview, innovation and business initiation. Michael Ruchty, Exhibition Director at Euroexpo, said: „In view of the challenging global economic situation, it was not to be expected that we would end LogiMAT 2026 with new records in all areas.“
With the increased key figures for exhibitors, trade visitors and internationality as well as the reported business deals, LogiMAT is consolidating its character as a working trade fair and industry barometer in a difficult economic and geopolitical environment, according to the statement.
The next LogiMAT will take place from 16 to 18 March 2027 will once again take place at Messe Stuttgart.
