With allflex E, allvac presents an 11-layer high-barrier film that protects sensitive foods such as meat, sausages and baked goods and extends their shelf life. The versatile film offers high puncture resistance and is also suitable for MAP packaging.

The allflex E, developed by allvac, is a co-extruded 11-layer film specially designed for perishable foods. Thanks to an EVOH barrier, it offers Protection against oxygen and moisture and thus extends the shelf life of the packaged products. Favourite areas of application include fresh beef, sausage products, baked goods and convenience products.

With a thickness of 50 to 300 μ, the allflex E offers a High puncture resistance and is also suitable for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP). The temperature resistance of up to 100 °C over four hours also enables pasteurisation of the packaged food.

„Our allflex E fulfils the highest demands in terms of flexibility, aroma protection and processability,“ explains Dr Andreas S. Gasse, Managing Director of allvac Folien GmbH. Additional properties such as anti-fog coatings or peelable surfaces can be integrated on request. The allflex E complements the allvac portfolio and supports food quality assurance through its protection against external influences and its user-friendly properties.
