DTM Print, OEM and solution provider for speciality printing systems, presents the LX3000e colour label printer, the latest model in the LX series from manufacturer Primera. It features large single colour cartridges and a reusable thermal inkjet print head.

The new so-called „Big Ink“ ink tanks for cyan, magenta and yellow use dye or pigment-based inks that are optimised for brightness, durability and optical density. The process black in particular has a very high optical density. This results in the blackest black ever achieved with a Primera (CMY) three-colour printer.

Process black has many advantages for labels over the separate carbon-based black inks, including better water resistance, compatibility with a wider range of speciality label materials and higher smudge resistance.

The LX3000e is suitable for applications with a print volume of up to 10,000 labels per day and combines modern ink technology, high print quality and low printing costs per label.
