Sensitive electronic components react sensitively to electrostatic discharges. Even the smallest voltages can permanently damage circuit boards, LED strips or electronic components. This is where ESD meander packaging from Froeb comes in: it prevents electrostatic discharge and thus provides reliable protection along the entire process chain - from production to storage and shipping.

With its ESD meander packaging, packaging specialist Froeb offers an innovative solution for the safe transport of sensitive electronics. The packaging is based on an intelligent film insertion system in which loop-shaped ESD films are glued into stable ESD cardboard boxes. These loops form flexible slots into which electrical components slide effortlessly and are securely fixed at the same time.

This system is particularly suitable for long and narrow components such as PCBs or LED strips. Components of different lengths can be accommodated in one package. In addition, the film can be used completely or only partially as required - a resource-saving approach for customised packaging solutions. ESD meander packaging from Froeb therefore enables highly sensitive electronic components to be packaged safely, saving time and money.

Environmentally friendly paper version

The meander packaging is available in two versions: classic with ESD PE film made of polyethylene or as an environmentally friendly innovation made of 100 per cent antistatic paper. The kraft paper used, with a grammage of 85 g/m², completely replaces the film and enables completely recyclable ESD meander packaging for the first time. Froeb thus combines reliable ESD protection, which offers tested conductivity in accordance with internationally recognised standards, with consistent sustainability - unrivalled on the market.
