After 14 years at Multivac, Guido Spix will leave the company as Managing Director on 31 December 2022. Among other things, he was responsible for the Group-wide innovation strategy and production. Christian Traumann will become CEO and Spokesman of the Management Board from the first of January 2023.
Guido Spix is terminating his contract as Managing Director at his own request for family reasons with effect from 31 December 2022. Multivac. This marks the end of almost 14 years of service. He joined the management team as Technical Managing Director in February 2009. Since January 2020, Guido Spix has led the Group together with Christian Traumann as dual leadership. Under his leadership, the The company has developed from a machine manufacturer to a solution provider and the company's technology leadership was further expanded. The network of international production sites was expanded.

Guido Spix will remain on friendly terms with the shareholders and the company and will continue to provide advice in the future.

With the departure of Guido Spix, the Board of Directors has decided to broaden the structure of the Executive Board due to the Group's pleasing growth. Christian Traumann will become CEO and Spokesman of the Executive Board on 1 January 2023. He has been with the company since 2002 and a member of the Executive Board since 2008. He has been managing the Group together with Guido Spix since the beginning of 2020. Three new Managing Directors will be appointed: Bernd Höpner (CTO), Dr Christian Lau (COO) and Dr Tobias Richter (CSO).
