Cutting-die manufacturer Marbach has launched a new system solution on the market under the name Connect|M. It ensures the cloud-based, digital connection of cutting-die, die-cutting machine and user.
Connect|M is specially developed software combined with various hardware components. Cameras, sensors and QR codes are used in the production of a packaging manufacturer. for a connection between tool, punching machine and user. This digital connection enables performance tracking and efficient tool management.
With Connect|M customers have their own personal „punch tracker“ in use. This is because the software - like a fitness tracker - provides numerous performance data in real time. This allows key figures to be collected automatically and digitally during the production of packaging, target values to be defined and the achievement of targets to be measured and performance to be improved on the basis of the numerical analyses.
