Marchesini Group showcases packaging technology for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics at Pharmintech 2025

The Marchesini Group will be presenting new packaging and processing machines for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry at Pharmintech 2025 in Milan - from powder filling to augmented reality.

At Pharmintech in Milan, the Italian Marchesini Group is presenting new solutions for the processing and packaging of pharmaceuticals and cosmetic products - including powder filling systems and digitally supported packaging systems.

From 27 to 30 May 2025, the Marchesini Group will be taking part in the Pharmintech powered by Ipack-Ima in Milan. The company will be presenting various machine models from the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors at stand A26 B25 in hall 2. A particular focus will be on powder processing, digital technologies and integrated line solutions.

Growth course and internationalisation

According to its own figures, the Group achieved consolidated sales of over 600 million euros in 2024. CEO Valerio Soli was optimistic about the development: „We are very satisfied with the results. The Group is growing continuously.“ In the medium term, the company is aiming for a turnover of one billion euros - partly through acquisitions and expansion into new markets.

Powders, blisters, suppositories: Wide range of applications in the pharmaceutical sector

In the pharmaceutical sector, Marchesini will be exhibiting a powder filling system with vacuum pressure disc technology and integrated 100% in-process control (IPC). This is complemented by a turbo emulsifier for the production of liquid or creamy products. The system is equipped with an interactive system that visualises the individual production phases.

Also on show is a monoblock for blister packaging with a connected cartoner using the alternating cycle process. The line processes different formats at up to 150 units per minute. There will also be laboratory solutions from the Dott. Bonapace brand, including lines for the production of ovules and suppositories, filling systems for bottles with tablets and capsules as well as a capsule filling machine and a tablet press.

Cosmetic lines with robot technology and digital control

For the cosmetics industry, the Marchesini Beauty Division is presenting a complete packaging line for tubes: from filling and sealing by an Axomatic tube filling machine to cartoning by the horizontal cartoner from V2 Engineering.

Another exhibit is a line created through the collaboration between the Vibrotech and Axomatic brands. It consists of a robotic feeding system coupled with a linear filling and capping machine for stable bottles.

Digital technologies and 30 years of SEA vision

The Marchesini Group's Digital Division will also be showcasing solutions for predictive maintenance, format changeovers with augmented reality and customer online access. SEA Vision - the subsidiary specialising in image processing systems - will also have its own area on the stand. The occasion is the brand's 30th anniversary in the field of visual inspection systems.
