Schreiner Group has appointed Mark Wright as its new CFO. Wright, who succeeded Karl Tschacha at the beginning of the year, has extensive international experience and will further develop the company's commercial structures.
Mark Wright has more than 25 years of experience in international management positions. His career began after studying business administration at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. While working, he qualified as a property economist and spent 26 years at Giesecke+Devrient in various commercial management roles. Most recently, he was head of the property division and CFO of the Canadian company.
„Schreiner Group impressed me with its innovative strength and clear growth strategy,“ explains Wright. He sees great potential in the RFID sector in particular. The market is moving away from simple labelling towards data-based value-added solutions. „RFID, digitalisation and intelligent data are key growth drivers for our target industries,“ Wright continues.
The challenges of globalisation
In addition to finance, controlling and purchasing, Wright is also responsible for IT and facility management. A particular focus is on the internationalisation of Schreiner Group and the optimisation of cost structures. „We are in turbulent economic times,“ emphasises Wright. „It is important to combine commercial stability with strategic foresight and to make targeted investments in future topics.“
Karl Tschacha, who has played a key role in shaping Schreiner Group's commercial structures for over 15 years, is moving to the role of Senior Management Consultant.
