Markus Dorner becomes new CFO of the Tricor Group

In his new role, Dorner will be responsible for Finance, Purchasing, Human Resources, Legal, Sustainability and the subsidiary Transcor.

The Tricor Group is strengthening its Executive Board: Markus Dorner will take over the position of Chief Financial Officer from 1 October 2025, succeeding Dr Günther Burkhard. Dorner was previously Commercial Director at Hymer GmbH & Co. KG, which belongs to the US group Thor Industries.

In his new role, Dorner will be responsible for Finance, Purchasing, Human Resources, Legal, Sustainability and the subsidiary Transcor. Kyle Baker, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, emphasised that his many years of experience and strategic expertise will successfully support the Tricor Group. Dr Reiner Dietrich, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, also thanked Burkhard for his many years of service, during which he had shaped the financial stability and further development of the company.

"The company has undergone impressive development in recent years. I am convinced that I can make a valuable contribution to its continued success with my experience," explained Dorner on taking office.

Background to the Tricor Group

The Tricor Group, based in Bad Wörishofen, has been part of the Japanese Rengo/Tri-Wall Group since 2019. The specialist for industrial packaging solutions offers sustainable multi-material systems as well as transport and logistics services through its subsidiary Transcor. With around 2,100 employees at 17 locations in Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovenia, Tricor is one of Europe's leading providers in the industrial packaging sector.
