Marzek Etiketten+Packaging appoints new COO

Marzek Etiketten+Packaging is strengthening its management team: Michael Grech, MBA, is taking over responsibility for sales, production, quality management and IT as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Michael Grech, MBA, has been the new COO (Chief Operating Officer) at Marzek Etiketten+Packaging since the beginning of 2025. In this role, he is responsible for sales, production, quality management and IT and reports directly to CEO Dr Johannes Michael Wareka.

Expertise and international experience

Michael Grech has extensive experience in process automation, management and corporate governance. After completing his studies at the Vienna University of Technology and the Danube University Krems, he held various management positions - including at Austrian Aerospace, Austrian Lotteries and Laakirchen Papier AG.

International networking and growth

In addition to his work at the main plant in Traiskirchen, Austria, Grech works closely with the subsidiaries Marzek Kner Packaging (Hungary) and Marzek-Dnipropack (Ukraine) in order to optimise synergies within the Group, according to the statement.
