Increasing variant diversity, frequent product changes, individualisation of products, booming online trade or quick sales campaigns - the demand for flexible and high-performance labelling solutions is currently rising sharply in many industries.
A Maximum flexibility offer mobile, handy label printers, but their material capacity makes them more suitable for printing receipts and simple labels for small to medium print runs. For more complex labelling tasks, fast label output or applications that require a very high number of labels. High resistance to the printed image desktop or industrial printers are the better alternative.
With retrofittable „battery packs“ Mediaform Informationssysteme GmbH now offers an extremely practical and, above all, economical solution that High-performance label printing perfectly combined with previously unrivalled flexibility. The systems are currently already available for the cab EOS2 and EOS5 mobile thermal transfer printers in the mid-range industrial printer sector.
The battery packs are simply mounted on the underside of the printers. They are inside fully charged within three hours. Their capacity is sufficient for the Print up to 5,000 labels in total - for labels in 110 x 68 millimetre format with 15 per cent blackening.
The wireless communication with the host system enables a WLAN or Bluetooth dongle. Both the power supply and the data connection, for example to an ERP system, remain uninterrupted. This enables uninterrupted work without data loss, increases efficiency and reduces the error and reject rate.
For less demanding applications with lower print volumes, Mediaform also offers the practical systems for the compact Zebra desktop printers ZD410, ZD420 and ZD620.
