Memjet has appointed Marc Johnson as Global Director Product Marketing. In this newly created role, Johnson will be responsible for the development and implementation of market strategies for Memjet and its OEM partners, as well as product development, competitive analysis and strategic planning.

One of Johnson's tasks is to incorporate feedback from the market into the further development of the DuraLink technology of Memjet. He will also work closely with OEM partners to develop new market strategies for the development and supply of printing machines based on DuraLink technology for the Packaging, commercial and industrial printing develop.
Designing new possibilities in print
Johnson has more than 25 years of professional experience in the printing industry. In an industry that has been undergoing significant change for some time, Johnson has used his experience - coupled with curiosity and a spirit of innovation - to drive new ways of manufacturing, marketing and selling print products.
„My previous roles were less about selling and marketing print technologies and more about how companies can use the medium of print to maximise their Advance business goals“, says Johnson. „To this end, I asked the following questions: ‚What are the end users‘ requirements? What are their biggest challenges? How can we solve their problems? We carefully analysed the requirements of the customers who commission and purchase print products and proactively responded to their answers and requests. Prior to joining Memjet, Johnson held several management positions at HP and worked in various marketing and product management roles at Kodak, Presstek, Scitex and Varityper.
