
Polymer distributor Meraxis is strengthening its Executive Board with two new faces. Sarah Maier took up the position of Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) on 1 January and will focus on the transformation of the company. Emmanuel Tarret will take up the position of Chief Operation Officer (COO) on 1 March.
As CTO, Sarah Maier will lead the holistic transformation of the company, in particular by Processes, personnel, culture and communication interlinked.

Sarah Maier has been with the company since Meraxis was founded and has been with the group for more than ten years. A graduate in business administration, she has managed the Acquisition of MB Barter & Trading and the subsequent merger and post-merger integration. She then built up the „Business Transformation & Strategic Projects“ division at Meraxis, which she has been responsible for ever since.

From March 2023, French-born Emmanuel Tarret will also join the Meraxis Board as COO. He will head the Responsible for Supply Chain Management & Quality Management. In addition, the chemical engineering graduate will expand and manage the new division for technical polymers at Meraxis.
„In Emmanuel, we have gained an internationally experienced industry expert with many years of international management experience. His expertise with speciality compounds and masterbatches is a perfect addition. We will benefit from this in particular when expanding our business with engineering thermoplastics. This is another important milestone for our one-stop shop.“

In the On 1 September 2022, Meraxis expanded its product portfolio in the engineering polymers segment by acquiring the French Fournier Plastics Group. Tarret will support the post-merger integration. Tarret has over twenty years of industry experience in various management positions, most recently at Cabot, a global leader in speciality chemicals and performance materials. Prior to that, he held various management positions at the US oil company ExxonMobil.
In addition to Maier and Tarret, the Meraxis Executive Board continues to consist of Dr Stefan Girschik (CEO), Philipp Endres (Deputy CEO) and Ulrich Litterscheid (CFO).
