The Aran Group is acquiring a majority stake in IBA Germany. This was announced by the manufacturer of bag-in-box solutions. The strategic acquisition is intended to open up new markets and strengthen the company's foothold in Germany.
IBA is known for its innovative solutions based on the creative innovation of Sascha Siebel. Headquartered in Luhne, Germany, IBA is a key player in the Production and sale of flexible IBCs for the transport of high-quality foodstuffs. The aseptic IBC IBA Tainer is a patented 1000 litre container for the transport of liquid foodstuffs. It is equipped with a protective cage and a flexible disposable bag. This original solution offers a cost-effective alternative to conventional stainless steel containers and ensures an aseptic environment with excellent barriers to protect the product. This eliminates the need for complex washing and sterilisation processes, reducing the risk of contamination and preserving the integrity of the valuable contents. In addition to the economic benefits, the IBA Tainer is a significantly lighter solution that reduces energy requirements throughout the value chain.
„This is a tremendous commercial, management and leadership opportunity for all of us at Aran and IBA. With the support of the Aran Board, management and staff, we are looking to achieve significant milestones in the near future.
