Mettler-Toledo will be showing a total of four production lines for the food industry in action at „Anuga FoodTec“. Solutions for dry, wet and packaged products as well as for laboratory and industrial weighing applications will be demonstrated. An X-ray inspection system for detecting foreign bodies will celebrate its première. The manufacturer of precision instruments will also be showing various metal detection systems, dynamic checkweighers and visual inspection systems.

At the Production line for dry foods„ the performance of the free-fall metal detectors will be demonstrated. These have been equipped with new functions such as the „Reduced Test Mode“. This reduces the number of routine performance tests by up to 83 per cent because it constantly monitors system performance and ensures that the required specification is met or exceeded at all times. The „eDrive“ technology, which is also new, is designed to increase detection sensitivity by up to 20 per cent.
Profile Advantage„ metal detection system is 50 per cent more accurate

The range of dynamic checkweighers has been extended to include the C3130 model with IP65 water protection and the CM33 combination solution with „Profile Advantage“ technology.Metal detection technology represented. Two visual inspection systems on the „Packed Foods“ production line“
The „V2410 Mosaic“ and „V2622 Flex-Lite“ visual inspection systems can be seen on the „Packed Foods“ production line. All-round inspection of labels and packaging is possible with the „V2410 Mosaic“. Among other things, barcodes can be checked for legibility and correctness using the six cameras arranged in a circle. An optional seventh camera can be added for top side inspections.
The „V2622 Flex-Lite“ system is designed for fast, low-effort entry into 100 per cent inspection of labels, markings and other visible packaging features. For the first time, the new generation of „Smart Camera 300“-series for High-speed inspections can be seen at the plant.
