Michael Koch GmbH, manufacturer of smart energy management systems and safe braking resistors, will be presenting the Dynamic Storage Manager KSM 4.0 for the first time at SPS IPC Drives from 28 to 30 November 2017.

The new device makes it possible to equalise DC circuits from 180 volts DC to 540 volts DC voltage level, i.e. to temporarily store excess energy and replace missing energy. The KSM 4.0 has special features that make it a universal solution. Its ability to handle the various storage media of electrolytic capacitors, double-layer capacitors and batteries is impressive and therefore offers advantages for an extremely wide range of applications. Its functionalities are optimised for the respective storage media.

Under the motto „Managing DC Energy“ Koch will also be presenting the new Koch Communication Cable - KCC at SPS IPC Drives, which, as an interface converter from USB to RS422 and RS485 with autosense function for automatic switching of the respective interface of all Koch energy management systems, offers the user further advantages.

Visitors to the Koch stand will also be able to see the new design tool for DC Energy solutions with Koch's web-based engineering tool and the integration of Koch's advantageous energy management systems into the SERVOsoft servo calculation tool from ControlEng in Canada.
