The Caroli Foods Group, a Romanian producer of processed meat products, has launched a range of chilled ready meals under the Maestro brand. The ten recipes are prepared using Micvac in-pack cooking and pasteurisation technology.
"Since the pandemic, consumers have started to favour tasty recipes that remind them of home-cooked meals. The innovative Micvac technology is therefore a good fit for the future market", says Roxana Manolescu, CEO of the Caroli Foods Group.
This is the first time that the Micvac-technology on the Romanian market. The technology makes it possible, that a dish retains both its flavour and nutritional value for 60 days without any additives or preservatives. Following the market launch in summer 2021, additional recipes were launched in November due to the increase in sales figures, and further new launches are planned for the future.
