In the end, the uncertainty was too great for the organisers. The international trade fair for production and assembly automation has been postponed until next year. The new date for Motek/Bondexpo in Stuttgart is 5 to 8 October 2021.
The organisers of the trade fair fought for a long time to develop hygiene and protection concepts in such a way that holding the event this autumn could actually have been risked. Nevertheless, it has now been decided together with the exhibitor advisory board to postpone Motek/Bondexpo until next year.
„This decision is based on common sense and a sense of responsibility. As a trade fair organiser, we see ourselves as a service provider for our exhibitors and trade visitors. The current uncertainties among exhibitors and visitors, for example with regard to possible travel and the sufficient secondment of employees, now require us to look pragmatically and confidently into 2021.“

Moving into the future with Smart Solutions for Production and Assembly
The now advanced time also speaks in favour of a postponement. For weeks, organisers and exhibitors had to exercise patience due to delays in decisions by the responsible authorities. But now the focus is on the future. The Motek/Bondexpo, the leading trade fair for the world of automation, will therefore be held for the 05 - 08 October 2021 are particularly expected. After all, industrial users need practical and economical automation solutions - especially in difficult economic times.
