The Corrugated Board Austria Award 2017 in the „POS“ category goes to the packaging and paper manufacturer Mondi Group for the new, resealable sales packaging „Box A Treasure“.
A new packaging for premium consumer goods was honoured, which was developed together with the traditional Austrian company and wooden construction kit manufacturer Matador. The high-quality and resealable sales packaging „Box A Treasure“ was able to achieve its Special hinged lid design scored points with the jury.
In keeping with the character of the product, the new, one-piece packaging looks like a toolbox or treasure chest. Larger kits are also equipped with a carrying handle. The moulded hinged lid is resealable and allows the wooden components to be stored in the hexagonal sales packaging for a long time. This means that the box remains part of the product experience.
