Allfo and Allvac are jointly presenting recyclable and resource-saving film solutions at IFFA 2025. Three mono-material solutions will celebrate their premiere at the trade fair.
Three recyclable mono-material solutions will be celebrating their trade fair premiere: the monoLINE mono-material vacuum bag from Allfo and the mono-material monoFlex T and monoFlex O films from Allvac. Also new is the allflex ER, an up to 97 per cent recyclable film with high barrier from Allvac.
The new monoLINE vacuum bag from Allfo can be easily recycled as a single-material PE solution and thus fits seamlessly into the recycling loop. The MDO PE film contains less than five per cent EVOH. In addition to its good recyclability, monoLINE scores with further advantages: The PE vacuum bag offers maximum product protection and the best barrier properties, keeping packaged foods such as meat and sausages fresh for a long time. The material also impresses with its good mechanical properties, such as high tear resistance, flexibility and sealability. Thanks to its high machinability, the vacuum bag can be easy to process on all standard vacuum chamber machines.
„The impetus for the monoLINE came directly from the market: demand for mono-material solutions is increasing among dealers and end customers alike. We have therefore expanded our portfolio specifically in this direction.“
Peter Hotz, Managing Director Allfo

EcoLINE is a material-saving packaging solution from allfo and a particularly slim PA/PE vacuum bag. Instead of the usual 90µ, it comes with only 50µ thick and thus saves 45 per cent material one. In addition to material savings, the bag also scores highly in terms of recyclability, as ecoLINE is recyclable in accordance with the German Packaging Act and is available as tubular and sealed edge bags.
New polyolefin-based monomaterial films
Two mono-material films based on polyolefin are new to the Allvac range: monoFlex T is suitable as a thermoformable bottom film, monoFlex O as a top film and as a film for vertical and horizontal flow-wrapping systems. It is also used as a film for the production of sealed pouches used. The monoFlex O can also be finished using interlayer printing.

One of Allvac's latest innovations is the allflex ER, a PA/EVOH/PE film. The 11-layer film is up to 97 per cent recyclable and offers optimum protection for beef and sausage products, for example. With its EVOH high barrier, it even extends the best-before date of the packaged food.
„The allflex ER is the further development of our allflex E film and, just like its predecessor, is always used when sensitive and perishable foods need to be packaged safely or when there are high demands on the shelf life of the packaged products.“
Dr Andreas S. Gasse, Managing Director Allvac Films
As a further development of the classic allflex S film, the recyclable allflex SR film from Allvac has the same properties as its sister film: high puncture resistance, good mouldability, gloss and transparency. It is therefore predestined for packaging different foodstuffs, such as meat and sausage products. Vegan alternatives and convenience foods also cut a fine figure in the allflex SR.
Broad product portfolio and customised packaging
At IFFA, the packaging duo will also be focusing on its tried-and-tested solutions from a broad product portfolio. The vacuum bag specialist Allfo will be presenting its Sealed edge bags, tubular bags, stand-up pouches and printed vacuum bags. The film specialist Allvac will be presenting its PA/PE composite films for a wide range of applications in the meat and food industry. All vacuum bags and films from both companies are also available as halal and kosher certified.
