The packaging itself was already made of corrugated cardboard with a high recycled content, but with the new plastic-free monomaterial solution, it can now be used in the Waste paper cycle recycled. The switch to a monomaterial solution is clearly communicated to consumers on the packaging.
The solution was developed with the STI Group It was important to ensure that the outer dimensions of the carton could not be changed, as the packaging is erected by machine in large quantities and at high speed.
